FUTURE PLANS/CURRENT PROJECTS

At the moment. ----- lockdown has suspended our meetings for the moment and obviously disrupted our plans. Things are still happening though and, once we can do so safely, we'll meet and develop the following.

'Sanctuary' -a new musical. Sheffield became the UK's first City of Sanctuary in 2007. Since then, a network of groups, villages, towns and cities across the country has developed, providing support for asylum seekers and refugees. Our new musical celebrates Sheffield's place in this network, with the story of Victor Mugakachi, whose threatened deportation in February 2019, prompted a high-profile, local and national response.

'All Change' - we will look at filming this piece about gender stereotyping in order to distribute it in the same way as we will with 'In Someone Else's Shoes' once the schools are back to some sort of normality. As with 'Shoes', we'll be including newer members in the cast.

Further themes-we will be looking at other themes to explore in new, devised pieces.

If you like the sound of any of these, whether you are on the spectrum or not, get in touch. We’ll get back to you.
